COURSE CONTENT/SYLLABUS OF CULTURAL ASSETS ON SCREEN STUDY TO PROMOTE MULTICULTURALISM AND HUMANISM THROUGH BALIWOOD INTERNATIONAL FILM COLLEGE. Project Story : "Arjuna Meditation"

1. CULTURAL VISIT, PERCEPTION, ATTRACTION, APPRECIATION (observing and examining) Component:

  • Cultural visit for 3 hours
  • Building perceptions, and cultural appreciation for 2 hours
  • Observe cultural attractions for 2 hours

2. CULTURAL ACTIVITY AND EXPRESSION (learning by doing) Component:

  • Understand and experience cultural activities. Students give a creative response for 3 hours
  • Participating in mutual cooperation, sharing food and drink, for 3 hours
  • Cultural consultation, assessment & participant responses for 3 hours.

3. CULTURAL ADAPTION THROUGH IMITATION-REPETITION-EMULATION :

  • Kecak, Sangyang Dance dance
  • Wayang Puppetry (declared by UNESCO as the Masterpiece of the Tangible and Intangible Heritage of Humanity since March 7th 2003)
  • Gamelan metallophone music ensemble, chanting or mouth music, Tembang Bali traditional song, including ritual reading and narrative recitation.

  • Idea, inspiration based on your inherent aesthetic intuition for 4 hours
  • Artistic apparatus, media, multimedia for 3 hours
  • Specific artistic skill for 4 hours
